We recruit all of our staff in the same way presenting confidence, that all our staff have a personal interview. All have references double checked, CRBs done and health checks to ensure each member of staff are suitable and experienced in the childcare sector.

Identity Check

We make thorough checks to verify each applicant's identity including name, date of birth, address and photographic identity e.g. birth certificate, driving license or passport combined with evidence of address. Only original, official documents satisfy our requirements. Once an identify check has been carried out JM Education will issue an ID Badge which must be worn at all times for all assignments.

Criminal Records Bureau, Enhanced Disclosure

CRB Enhanced Disclosure checks are conducted by JM Education on all UK and Overseas candidates deployed. Enhanced Disclosures are renewed every year.

Qualification Check

Original qualification certificates are sighted at interview & a copy taken.

Permission to Work

We ensure that foreign nationals have permission to work in UK by sighting a valid, current, working visa or worker registrations scheme certificate, in accordance with our statutory duty. All overseas trained candidates must have a police check from their country of origin before they can be deployed. A CRB check is also conducted in the UK.

Professional & Character References

We take up a minimum of two written work related references. We don't rely on references or testimonials provided by the candidate, or open references and testimonials. Reference requests are only sent to verifiable places of work and are checked on receipt to ensure that they are legitimate.

Professional Face-to-Face Interview

A 45 minute, face-to-face interview is conducted to ascertain the suitability of candidates for the role in question. Where necessary, a full induction to supply work is provided and roles and responsibilities explained.
